Do we need a CRM? If so what should I look for?

I am being tasked with finding and researching a CRM for a regional appliance sales business. 5-10 sales reps would be using it. Some of the main things we would need it to do.

Manage Invoices- Once a sale is made we can upload a pdf and collect neccesary data IE contact info address, sales amount. We need to follow up with this customer as their order comes in. We need to keep in contact with these customers for weeks to months at a time. Automated emails

Manage Quotes- Manage contact info/ help with conversion

Point of Contact- Manage all communication beteween customer/potential client

From what ive seen the top 15 CRMS are either way to powerful or people recommend zapier/sheets combo. Is there anything out there thats simple and made for a small sales business? If I dont use a CRM is there other software out there that I should look to?
