( votes)We're a small business going strong for 10+ years. We've been using Filemaker PRO all his time and have updated and expanded FM over the years. The development costs are very high though and as we seek to include integration with other systems and modernize, these development costs are getting way above what we can spend.
We are a small business with 5 people working at the office and 20 agents visiting our clients to do different kind of inspections at our clients homes. We use google calendar for each agent that is managed bij FM. We have a client portal where clients log in for new orders and we have an API integration for our biggest client to push new orders directly from their software into our FM. We also have an agent portal where they can upload their report and put in the data that calculates the amount for the invoice. It sends the invoices and reports to different people automatically at different times. Etc.
We already have a lot going on which is great, but we are looking for extra services like an automatic sms service to our clients 1 day before the appointment, a system for our clients to digitally sign offers directly into the system, have all the documentation for the agents tied to the orders directly and accesible on the go, etc. We have a new NAS and would like data (uploaded reports, offers, etc) to be saved (or exported) straight to the nas etc. And our budget for development is long spend (This year already more than 40k € ).
So we are looking around if there are software packages that are not custom build and that can manage all that (or have similar options that could work for us) to cut costs and improve productivity.
We also use Front for email management with the team at the office. If there is a solution where email is included in the CRM, that would also be great.
