Help finding a CRM

Hello! I am in search of a CRM of sorts. I work for a solar company and work as a land manager. The majority of my job is phone calls and e-mails and plenty of documents. My main concern is finding a CRM or an app or something that aids in the tracking of phone calls and emails. In my mind I see myself linking both the clients phone and email to their contact page or the project page (best option) and when a call comes in or out and an email comes in or out it is linked to them it knows to file it to them. The simpler the better.

Our company has decided to go with Asana as our “CRM” however it seems far more like a project management tool. That is probably alright as I’m really the only one in need of the things I need. I haven’t been able to find any way to do this in asana but if that’s possible that would be awesome! Let me know if you have any ideas of software or apps, programs, anything please let me know!
