This is Steve Pestillo from P2 Automation. In this short video series, I’m going to show you all the benefits our customers get by joining a Managed Service Plan with our company. Benefit #1, The Learning Center.

The first benefit is Training. Now even though I’m a big believer in training, I’m not a big believer in spending a lot of time with training or developing a lot of documentation. And it’s a really big cost when you consider most people don’t read them. Instead, as you might imagine, we like videos and we like them to be short.

Now how do we get those videos into our client’s hands? Do we point them to YouTube? Do we point them to LinkedIn Learning? There are dozens of nice sites out there that have tons of videos on using CRM. We keep it a little simpler.

In every CRM system, we include our Learning Center. Here’s a live one. If you scroll to the bottom, you’ll find the Learning Center. And what we do is we compile our own videos, some of them generic, some very specific to your unique business process, and we put them here in a simple to use categorized tool. For example, if you want to know how to work with views, in other words, how to slice and dice your data, add columns, add filters, sort, etc. We created seven short videos that apply to any customer situation. Whether you’re in manufacturing or a law firm or a doctor’s office, you’re going to sort, filter, and group the same way.

And then for this particular client, we also included specific videos on their unique business process. Change Requests for example. A Change Request for this customer is a process for changing a company from a prospect to a customer, or changing information about that customer. For example, if you want to change the payment terms, you can’t simply go in and change the payment terms, but a salesperson can request that change. That information goes to management, management can approve or deny, then it goes to the credit department. They can approve or deny it and make the change for you. And when they’re done, the salesperson gets notified. That’s a very specific process, everyone needs to follow it the same way, and these videos will walk them through it.

Our Learning Center also checks the boxes as you read them, and then management knows which videos have been watched. So it’s a great way to make sure everybody’s singing off the same sheet of music and following the same process.
