The CRM market is populated by large and competent competitors, but it’s interesting that SAP CX has managed to maintain a notable share of around 5% (the second-highest share after SalesForce) over the years. So, here’s my take on what makes it valuable for certain companies and whether you may be amongst those who benefit the most from SAP CX.

-To begin, the most important factor is its greater versatility and flexibility with an unparalleled ability to adjust to various industries including retail, medicine, manufacturing, chemical industry, services, and more!

-It also offers an impressive collection of related SAP business tools that integrate seamlessly with SAP CX, instead of a focus only on CRM or weak third-party integrations. This sets it apart from competitors, particularly SalesForce, by covering all major business applications.

-Moreover, SAP CX easily integrates with the comprehensive business-wide expertise that SAP has gained over decades of innovation and acquisitions. So, it can craft a complete customer journey as well as all key business operations (especially ERP) with decades of joint expertise reflected at every point.

Having been in the SAP line for years, I’d say that SAP CX is very helpful for fast-growing companies that find it cumbersome to deal with multiple tools and look for comprehensive industry-specific solutions that quickly adjust to their exact requirements.

It might have a steeper learning curve at first, but it makes it easy to run your business seamlessly from one platform when conveniently integrated with its relevant tools. Moreover, it provides specialized features to help you make quick and pertinent decisions instead of juggling multiple software.

If your business fits these criteria, I’d say SAP is worth a shot. But what do you think? Which businesses will really benefit from SAP CX?
