Finding a CRM solution for automated email workflows

Hi r/CRM, hoping yall can help me out, I'm a data solutions consultant working with a client who has a small business in the music booking industry. He is looking to move from manually tracking bookings in monthly google sheets to using a CRM type solution.

The need is to automate emails and texts to and from musicians to complete bookings from start to finish. Job gets created, emails get sent out to staff in round robin fashion based on instrument, location, pay rate, etc. –If guy #1 says no, move to guy #2 and email/text him, etc.

There is also a need for basic reporting, monthly bookings, anticipated revenue, budgeting, showing upcoming jobs that need attention (ie. those that don't have all band member positions filled) etc.

I looked at Bullhorn but they are strictly for recruiting and HR use. I am also looking at things like Airtable, Zapier and HubSpot. I definitely don't want to build something in house.
Can anyone identify some candidates that might be a good fit for this use case?
