Need a CRM for Subscriptions

I have a subscription service that I need an affordable CRM for. Problem is most CRMs, surprisingly, are terrible. Ultimately I need two features…

• Integrate with my email (so emails sent to customers are tracked in CRM)
• Track subscriptions (incoming from Stripe)

Everyone recommends Hubspot, and they have a continual sync with Stripe, but it doesnt seem to keep track of Subscriptions- only invoices. So when I click a customer I dont see their subscription status or anything.

Most CRMs seem to require Zapier (which is insane to me), and I don't know if Zapier can actually pull in subscription stuff nicely
