Hi hoping someone here can help. I’m a new partner in a business who has been using salesforce for a couple of years but after just a few days there I can see it doesn’t really help with business processes.

It’s a metal manufacturing company, they make maybe 10 Different products but within those products there are 20 maybe more different models of each product. Early on they gave customers whatever they asked for and just ended up with too much customization.

Anyway I’m looking for someone to set up a new crm that can have a customer database, ability to create quotes and witching those quotes have a database of products to pull from for quotes, need it to email customer for approval, then be able to send the approval to production to Create parts and build the order. Once the order is ready to be able to email customer that the order is ready for pick up or delivery. Once it’s ready we would like to be able to invoice the customer from the crm. We Run Sage for accounting so any integration with that would be great.

Other needs would be to include checkpoints along the way to alert the office to progress in production

Also the ability to upload images to individual orders or quotes.

I’ve been on the web looking at all these different crm’s but I just don’t know what’s right for us. We would be will to pay the right company or person to work on developing this for us. We are located in Vancouver Canada.

Hope this is the right sub for this. Thanks.

I want to thank everyone for there time who replied. If anyone has an actual video of what they think covers most of what I need I’ll watch it and get back to them to take it further. I don’t want to watch videos on customizing my own because I won’t be doing that. I’m the CEO of a company that cuts and welds metal. I don’t have the tech knowledge to do that. The sales force was brought in my a guy who worked there 2 years ago, they pretty much haven’t used it since then. They have photocopied templates that they use as order forms and write the orders on white boards in the shop for staff to make order off of. Many mistakes from this and no way to search prior orders or even the current one. I don’t need pie charts or graphs, or Marketing or sales leads. People phone in for orders and we make it. Business has been around 40 years and is very respected for its products but is living in the dark ages.
