CRM apps disappeared from app launcher/waffle

We have a CRM environment that used to have the default Dynamics app, along with a couple of custom built apps, that would appear within the app launcher/waffle. However (not sure of the exact date/timescale) recently all of these apps have disappeared for all users, including myself and other global admins, except weirdly enough, one user can still see the Sales and Contracts app.

Has this happened to anyone else?
