Question About VTiger Automation Features for Abandoned Cart Email Series

I have spent hours upon hours trying to solve for this, perhaps someone can help? I want to do a timed abandoned cart email series based upon a deal stage in VTiger. In Hubspot, this would be dead easy, but in Vtiger, I simply cannot figure out how to do a multi-step automated series, and their support is no help. Is this something Vtiger can do, or do I need an additional plug-in?
