Does it matter which CRM you implement with a MS365/Teams environment? Netsuite or Dynamics

We're a medium-sized organisation with approx. 4000 seats on Office365 across four distinct businesses (distinct meaning they don't share essential services like accounting or sales). These businesses have been acquired, which means they came with pre-existing legacy software solutions that are unique to that business. We're seeking to consolidate these platforms for cost savings and greater data sharing efficiencies.

We're looking to implement a CRM first and possibly ERP later, and one business is pushing hard for this solution to be Netsuite, which they already have. Considering we already make use of Office365/Teams for office productivity, Sharepoint for intranet and the power platforms (power BI, power automate) for data, it feels like the logical choice is Dynamics 365.

Would a move to Netsuite make it harder for us to leverage the advantages of our existing Microsoft environment or does Microsoft integrate fine with Netsuite anyway? I'm looking to defuse the Netsuite discussion early if it's a bad idea.
