CRM Processes and Recommendations for Local County Political Campaign.

I'm new, so I apologize if I'm breaking rules or in the wrong spot.

I'm running for a local county commission seat (~15000 voters / ~$10-12k budget).

Can you all recommend software and CRM best practices for this segment? A lot of the systems I'm interviewing (copper, Monday and a few others) are quite nice, but would require an enormous amount of customization to make useable for a 5-7 person volunteer campaign team.

There are dedicated software systems out there, but they seem clunky and are super expensive ($500/month in some cases).
