( votes)Power Platform should be the responsibility of everyone in a company. That’s the message ahead of the upcoming virtual DynamicsCon 2021 event set for March 16-18. The event will offer session tracks for Dynamics 365 apps, Dynamics GP, and Power Platform.
MSDW is a media sponsor of DynamicsCon and we spoke with two of the event’s presenters, Tanique Williams, learning consultant, PowerObjects-HCL and Latoya Clarke-Nivore, CEO, strategic business change consultant, Connec2Dots, about their sessions.
In addition to some advanced topics, the event also aims to reach newcomers to the technology. Williams will be presenting “Power Platform from a Beginner’s Perspective,” on Tuesday, March 16 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern Time. This session will help attendees understand exactly what the Power Platform is and provide an overview of each component. It will also offer resources to aid a beginner’s journey into the Power Platform.
Williams says she’s talking about her own journey with the Power Platform as well as the product set’s history and recommendations on how a beginner can get started.
I’ve highlighted the value of the components: Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents. I give an overview for each component, and for a new learner, how they would set up a trial environment. I also explain some of the resources that I’ve used that could help them get started on their journeys.
Williams offers some advice to help companies take ownership of learning about the Power Platform as part of their Microsoft solution investments.
