Microsoft adding cross-channel analytics, new ML templates to Dynamics 365 Customer Insights

Microsoft is announcing a range of improvements to Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, the company’s customer data platform (CDP) offering, at today’s Business Applications Launch Event for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.

Updates to Customer Insights in the new release wave, which begins today and runs through March 2021, include multi-dimensional customer profiles, new analytics, new machine learning templates, improved Azure Synapse Analytics integration, and new data governance tools.

Microsoft will also present demos that feature customer successes with Customer Insights, including new reference customers Campari Group and Dayton Children’s Hospital, as well as Walgreens Boots Alliance, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and UNICEF Netherlands.
