Microsoft to add asset leasing features to Dynamics 365 Finance with licensing of Crowe Lease Accounting Optimizer

Microsoft will add lease accounting capabilities to Dynamics 365 Finance thanks to a new licensing agreement with Crowe LLP for their Crowe Lease Accounting Optimizer.

Lease Accounting Optimizer helps companies manage their lease accounting processes while promoting compliance with lease accounting standards under FASB ASC 842 and IFRS 16.

In a related blog post, Microsoft representatives also explained their upcoming asset leasing capabilities, without naming Crowe. The new features are due to reach GA with Dynamics 365 Finance in the November 2020 timeframe.
