MSCI announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft to leverage Azure and AI to create decision making tools for hedge funds, banks and asset managers.
As part of the partnership, MSCI will begin by migrating its Analytics and Index solutions to Azure. They also plan to bring over their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) products and ratings; Real Estate data and solutions; and MSCI’s risk analytics platform, Beon.
Together, the two companies stated that they plan to look at building new climate risk and ESG solutions with a combination of Power Platform and Azure.
