CRM software reccomendation

A family member has a small but successful consulting firm, they asked me if i could help them find a CRM program to organize their contacts and help grow their business. They actually have quite steady work so simply organizing the contacts on something better than an excel file is the main goal. Currently only a few employees, doubt it will ever grow beyond 10. Under 1000 contacts, will go up but not a huge list. Ive been reading a lot but without just trying 100 different programs for a week its hard to figure out which is best. LessAnnoyingCRM is my recommendation so far as it seems built for small businesses like this. Easy to use is more important than tons of features. Thank you
