Finding the free CRM for personal contact management, with specific features

I hope this is the right place to ask. I am searching for a free CRM that offer the following features:

• Customize the contacts with custom fields
• Use such fields to decide how often you should contact the leads

I already tried to give a look around, but I fear I will have to use excel
