( votes)Have you ever had requirement to make a custom Parent account field in your Dynamics CRM implementations?
Well – the field which can point to both Account as well as Contacts.
This field was restricted to only few entities like Case, Lead, Opportunities, etc.
Not anymore.
With CRM 2016 Update 1, you have the ability to create Customer field type AKA “ShanMC Field Type”. Look at the screenshot for a custom entity below:
This is a great addition!
Next request to the Product team – Please allow a custom Regarding field as well!
