Is this something a CRM can do?

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this.

Need a tool that can link emails (chain) to a specific objective or deal and all of it can be visible to 'management' (owner) whether they are CCed or not.

For example, if a employee is working on a potential deal (opportunity) and sending/receiving emails, I want them to be able to associate the emails to the deal and it be updated automatically when email is received or sent. So if a manager needs to look into the details of a deal s/he can select it on the web app and see the deal details and all communication related to it.

Similarly, I want this to work for other objectives, like if a company is arranging a webinar, employees can tag emails sent related to it and someone from management can view all emails with that tag.

(The employees will be working with their named email, not a shared inbox)

We are looking to get a CRM tool for basic features for sales and leads and want something with the above functionality, not even sure if this is a basic thing that CRMS can do, we have never used one.

Our email provider is Microsoft 365 for business. We have currently 5 people (including the owner).
