Help finding a CRM for a private elementary school’s admissions process

I'm volunteering some administrative services to a local private elementary school and helping them fix up their admissions process. It's a great school, but the school suffered coming out of COVID and isn't great at sales and marketing. I'd like to move the people involved with admissions (generally only 2-3 people) over to a CRM. Everyone is collaborative (there's no single sales "owner" or a particular prospective family), and some tools seem to try to hide client/customer information from other CRM users (pipedrive seems to do this). The school also needs to be careful with its money, although anything that helps the school fill up its empty spaces could be worth it.

If anyone has a suggestion, I think the CRM needs to be able to:

– be able for everyone on the team to see all of the prospective students and their statuses and actions

– automatically sync incoming and outgoing emails with prospective families. the school has a google business and so uses gmail.

– be quick and easy for anyone on the team to pop in and add a new family that called with an inquiry or to add a note or update a family's status

– be able to send individual and bulk emails from the system, with or without templates

great to haves that aren't necessarily required:

– be able to send emails from a different email (e.g. let one member of team send email on behalf of someone else on team who is out sick, or from a group "admissions" email address) to make it easier for everyone to work together

– some sort of API I could use to automatically sync with the system the families use to send in applications

– have its own scheduling system for group tours, and possibly for interviews
