Is there an easy way to collect form data from a text message?

I am looking for an easy way to gather form data from a text message. I can have the user text back and forth prompting them each time, but it seems cumbersome. Is there an easier way to do this? I could create landing pages and link to them, but it seems like a lot of effort to just collect a few pieces of data. Thanks.
