How to Cancel my HubSpot Subscription

Every project I have I run into something that HubSpot should do, but can’t. It’s either a crazy workflow workaround, or I have to port out to another service. I’m talking shit like using “today” in calculations, omitting weekends from SLAs (tickets), any sort of forms advancement.

If you Google your issue and it’s on HubSpot’s ideas board – it’s not happening. You will see ideas that were “under HubSpot review” for 3 years there.

HubSpot's pricing is very expensive for SMB. They hit you with hidden fees, extra charges once you sign up.

They have very draconian contract rules that make it very difficult to amend terms or assist you in anyway. As your tiers grow, they will not reduce your tier pricing if your tiers shrink, and will remove your payment details, rendering you hostage to their pricing.

As any marketing company would, they have "upgrades" littered through their product, and it's impossible to do anything without having to upgrade to a higher tier.

At a technical/product level, they change their API without notifying you, breaking integrations you have set up. This had happened to us multiple times, and it was shrugged as an "oops". It took them so long to get back that we ended up solving the problem ourselves by removing the integration.

When I tried to cancel my subscription, they have multiple people on the phone and gang up against me in regards to my feelings towards their company. Cancelling with them felt like an attempted up-sell to a much costlier package. They exist to make money, and care little about the customers feedback, and they have refused to refund my money. They insist to follow through the contract and keep charging me $1500/mo for the next 8 months. What should I do?
