We’ve been busy over here at Nimble! 2020 has been a challenging year for many businesses, which is why we’ve rolled out some awesome product updates to deliver the best CRM experience for our community.

We’re continually working to improve our CRM platform to make sure you get the most out of every interaction with all of your customers and leads. Nimble wears many hats, but customer relationship management is our forte. We pride ourselves on making it as simple and painless as possible to keep up with all of your key prospects and customers.

But First, What is Nimble?

Nimble is the simple, smart CRM for Office 365 and G Suite teams. It’s the only customer relationship management system that delivers actionable relationship intelligence everywhere you work: on social media platforms, within your inbox, in your favorite business apps, and on any website.

Nimble has powerful integrations with over 200 business applications, including MailChimp and QuickBooks. It enables you and your team to save hours on annoying data entry by establishing a bi-directional sync that unifies contact data from all of your disparate systems.

Pretty cool, huh?

Without further ado, here are some of the latest updates we’ve made to Nimble to help you thrive in 2020 and beyond:

Contact Privacy

Collaboration among teams is the key to success in any business. Being able to reach your goals by means of privately managing certain contacts can be just as beneficial — and in some cases necessary.

With Contact Privacy, users can create separate groups of private and public contacts that can be managed by the account admin and/or the users of appointed admin groups.

Marking contacts as “private” in the account does exactly that: it ensures that these contacts are for your eyes only. Contacts assigned as private by you will only appear in your contact list.

Call Log Widget

With the new Call Logging widget on the Nimble Today page, you can track all interactions with your customers to help you stay on top of follow-ups, improve relationships, and measure your team’s success.

The Call Logging widget enables you to quickly log and schedule activities related to a contact. This includes the ability to schedule a call date/time, log a call duration, call resolution, completion date/time, and more. You and your team can log calls from the past, present, and future.

Custom Activities Widget

We know that your business needs are unique to your team. This is why we’ve made it easier than ever to keep track of what’s important to you by introducing the Custom Activities widget. Create widgets on the Nimble Today Page for all of your endeavors, including “Webinars,” “Appointments,” “Campaigns,” and more.

Contact Company Conversion

We all make mistakes sometimes. Occasionally, a Company might accidentally be uploaded to your CRM as a Contact. With the Contact Company Conversion capability, you can easily change a Contact to a Company (and vice versa) directly from a Nimble contact record or browser extension.

Change Log

We’ve optimized the way business teams track changes to their company and contact data with our Nimble Change log. This change includes the ability to see if a contact was merged with another one, if any team members made any incorrect data entries (by mistake or on purpose), what changes were made by any external APIs or integrations, and more.

The Big Picture

All of these enhancements are apart of our recent redesign of the Nimble contact record

It’s simpler than ever to log activities, view contact and company information, scan social signals, send trackable email templates, apply tags, and more — right from the newly designed contact record.

We know that the heart of Nimble is the contact record; it’s where most people spend their time. This is why our newly redesigned contact record is complete with inline editing and granular custom activity tracking, making it easier to see, update, and search all your important relationship information at once.

Why Teams Love Using Nimble CRM

“We were all struggling with not having one ultimate source of truth. Thanks to Nimble, we now have all of our notes and deals in one place and easily accessible by anyone in the company.” Lauren added that “We don’t have to go through eight thousand different spreadsheets to find what we are looking for.” Lauren Turow, VP of Customer Success, Lately

“Nimble is designed for salespeople so they could work with something that would help them to actually do their job, close more deals, and make more money and also do it in a fashion that you can be very proud of.” Jim Duffy, President, The Litigation Connection LLC

“I love Nimble’s new UI. It’s simple, clean, and head and shoulders above the competition. The streamlined Contact Profile view saves you time and eliminates confusion by allowing you to easily locate detailed relationship data; edit contact records; and take next steps directly within the profile view without having to toggle back and forth between different areas of the application.” – Brad Banyas, CEO, OMI
