At Sage Intacct, we know that happy, appreciated employees will provide an extraordinary customer experience. In the Sage Intacct office in San Jose, we’ve worked methodically for years to create a culture that truly values our team members’ contributions, and this permeates everything we do. As you’ve hopefully seen, our move from an independent company as Intacct into the Sage family has had only positive impacts as we continue to embrace this mentality.

We’re thrilled that this investment in our corporate culture has been so impactful over the last decade. That’s right! The Bay Area News Group recently announced Sage Intacct as a Top Workplace for the 10th year in a row! In 2020, Sage Intacct placed 15th in the Midsize category. Overall, there were 85 organization of all sizes honored this year.

To be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet The Bay Area News Group’s strict standards for organizational health. The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey, and several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including alignment, execution, connection, and more.

The Bay Area News Group notes, “Top Workplaces has a deep legacy of recognizing the best and most rewarding work environments for local employees. It provides tremendous value for the companies, its employees and job seekers looking to work for the best and brightest the Bay Area has to offer. Companies that have been crowned as one of the Top Workplaces have thoroughly demonstrated a commitment to their employees through outstanding leadership and to their local communities through various charitable and volunteer initiatives. The award is not only a great way to reward employees for outstanding teamwork, but also to recruit some of the finest talent from around the globe.”

Fortune Best Small and Medium Workplaces

But it doesn’t end there. Sage Intacct was named to the Fortune Best Small & Medium Workplaces 2020 list. This marks the fifth straight year on this coveted list!

To determine the 2020 Best Small & Medium Workplaces list, Great Place to Work analyzed confidential survey feedback representing more than 189,000 employees working in small- and medium-sized businesses in the United States.

Employees responded to over 60 survey questions describing the extent to which their organization creates a Great Place to Work For All. 85% of the evaluation is based on what employees say about their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization. Great Place to Work analyzes these experiences relative to each organization’s size, workforce make up, and what’s typical relative to their peers in the industry. The remaining 15% of the rank is based on an assessment of all employees’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, and the effectiveness of their leaders, to ensure they’re consistently experienced.

According to analysis of Sage Intacct colleague feedback:

  • 95% of colleagues say that when you join the organization you are made to feel welcome
  • 95% of colleagues believe management is honest and ethical in its business practices
  • 96% report that the facilities contribute to a celebratory working environment for special events
  • 95% note that people genuinely care about each other at Sage Intacct
  • 95% state that they are able to take time off of work when they want a break

One Sage Intacct colleague shared to Fortune, “The culture of Sage Intacct is second to none. Our customer and employee centric values really set us apart as an organization. The saying about, ‘Ethics is doing what is right when nobody is watching,’ really rings true.”
