If it’s time for Microsoft Inspire, that means it’s also time for the Microsoft’s annual Partner of the Year awards. Today, Microsoft announced the 2020 winners and finalists. The annual awards recognize Microsoft partners that demonstrate excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology. The award winners and finalists from around the world will be recognized at the first-ever digital Microsoft Inspire, July 21-22.

The finalists and winners for all Microsoft Partner of the Year awards were selected from more than 3,300 nominations collected from more than 100 countries worldwide based on their commitment to customers, the impact of their solutions on the market and their “exemplary” use of Microsoft technologies.

Microsoft updated some of the business apps-related awards in 2019 and they appear to have done the same this year with some new linguistic flourishes, apparently to obscure product names. For example, “Dynamics 365 for Field Service” has been replaced with “Connected Field Service”,  “Dynamics 365 for Sales” was replaced with “Intelligent Sales and Marketing“, and the award for Power Apps was extended to include Power Automate.

Here are the awards related to the Business Applications product family, with notes for those firms who were also recognized in 2019.
